Much like showfoxes, these pillowings are made to be spectacles. They are a living presentation. These pillowings actually battle each other for the entertainment of others/their owners. Don't fret too much, these pillowings typically are all about theatrics rather than actual fighting. It's even known some fights are choreographed before the main event even happens to ensure a good show for everyone. A lot of the Gladiator fans can easily be related to professional wrestling type sports. It's more about the performances than the actual fights themselves. However they are combined pretty well and all of the fans seem to enjoy it quite thoroughly. There is a huge booming community for it. When these pillowings are damaged during a fight, normally it's intentional. Even when it's not, they are still perfectly fine. Once the fight-performance is over they go home with their loving owners who fix them right back up or have professional crafters near by. These pillowings are still loved and people devote their lives around their pillowing and their Gladiator personas.
